We are looking for a Tukang Kayu (Indonesian term for a skilled carpenter) to craft and assemble high-quality solid wood furniture.
Responsibilities
- Cutting, assembling and finishing wooden furniture parts
- Reading basic measurements and working with precision
- Operating standard carpentry tools and machines safely
- Quality checks and rework if needed
- Keeping your workspace clean and organized
Requirements
- Practical experience as a carpenter / tukang kayu
- Care for workmanship, accuracy and durability
- Reliability and ability to work in a team
- Basic understanding of safety and tool handling
Nice to have
- Experience with furniture finishing (sanding, coating, etc.)
- Experience with export-quality standards
- Ability to suggest practical improvements in production
